Start car and adjust climate controls

Start the car and adjust the climate controls. Listen for the blower motor. When properly working the sound should increase with increased air and decrease accordingly.

Replace blower motor as needed

Replace the blower motor as needed. Get to the blower motor in a Honda Accord from the inside the car. Remove the kick panel near the floorboard on the passenger's side.

Remove blower motor cover

Remove the blower motor cover.

Remove the fasteners holding the blower motor in place and unplug the electrical connector.

Check for a blown fuse if the climate controls seem to be working correctly but have no effect on the air temperature.

There are three fuse boxes in Honda Accord.

The fuse for the air conditioning is found in the interior fuse box on the driver's side of the dashboard.

It is in location number 16 and is only 7.5 amps.

Remove the blown fuse with a pair of pliers.

Turn the car on and allow the engine to run for a few minutes.

If the air runs but does not get cold then it is likely a problem with the compressor.

Turn off the car.
